Farmer's Daughter Boutique Farmer's Daughter is located in the barn at Bates Nut Farm. Filled with local & handmade treasures. Sherrie Bates Ness opened Farmer's Daughter in 1985.

Sherrie is the daughter of Walter and Sandra Bates the owners of Bates Nut Farm. She is the Farmer's Daughter. Some say it should be Sherrie's closet because she fills it with finds from all over. Some of her favorite clothing styles, jewelry and gifts for all occasions. Newly remodeled this year, Sherrie brought the barn, vintage style back and is having fun filling it with products from some of

her favorite charities and products with a story to tell. Come check out the latest finds and enjoy shopping. Enjoy the Bates Nut Farm store, picnic area and farm animals on your visit!

Hi Friends! It's almost here! 🎶 Join us at Bates Nut Farm on Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 3:00pm - 7:30pm for the Valley Center Music & Auto Festival, presented by Valley Center Music Boosters! 🎶

This special event is one of the biggest fundraisers supporting our local music students! Proceeds will help support the music programs of Valley Center High School and Valley Center Middle School!

Bring your chairs and enjoy an afternoon filled with live music, a car show, food, kids' activities, a beer garden, and plenty of community fun.
