Something new in downtown Venice! ChristinaBellaBeads has pulled together, local artist, galleries, Studios, and shops that feature local handmade items and art creating the Venice Art Stroll.

This will be a weekly event in downtown Venice from 11 until three. This is an opportunity for each of the locations to feature an artist, have a trunk show, teach a class or anything else that is art related for visitors to enjoy.

ChristinaBellaBeads will be at Nest Venice with a selection of jewelry and doing jewelry repair.

Meet Celestial Soirée Artist: Christine Sadel

A lifelong creative, Christine has explored art in many forms, from painting and pottery to jewelry design and teaching. Now based in Venice, Florida she draws inspiration from nature and continues to experiment with watercolor, abstract gouache, and mixed media within the local art community.

Christine's hand-painted Las Meninas sculpture, "Starr," is inspired by the night sky and the wishes and prayers it holds. The piece is deeply personal, as her mother has been receiving treatment at Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute for the past three years. "Starr" reflects both the difficult questions cancer patients face and the hope, strength, and faith found in looking upward - reminding us that cancer is only one part of who we are.

Successful painting class at one of the senior communities I have been teaching at for a few years. I emphasize that we are not creating paintings like a photograph, we are expressing our view of an object. Their confidence is biilding!
