Let me preface by saying I've never done this before but I was so offended by the way I was treated that I must share!
I visited for the first time today and upon walking in the store I spotted an item of interest. Turning it over I discovered the price; .99 (cents). A gentleman (I use the term lightly) approached me as I was searching for the check out area. I showed him the price and he said "That's not right. It's my wife's and I just put it out there". I guess the wife wasn't there;
I never saw here. I was baffled. It's not even about the price at this point; he upped it to $3.
I asked him how he can just randomly increase a price as a customer is obviously buying the item.
He just kept telling me I didn't have to buy it. He's right! But I wanted it!
Again it wasn't about the $3. He was rude, condescending and down right arrogant. Even as I was paying for it he kept telling me I didn't have to buy it.
He also told me he had rent and utilities to pay. Poor business etiquette!!
I told him I hope the $2 was worth losing a future customer because I would never step in his store again.
Definitely lacking customer service or appreciation for customers who step into his store. I surely didn't feel the spirit of the holidays or any kind of positive spirit!

Sorry you had this experience, we've been in business 20 years and this is the second bad review...
Honestly, my husband works 60 hrs a week and is a wonderful loving guy, Father, Husband, Brother, Friend, Uncle, Son, Grandfather!
He supports many family members . If he has an off day... it's probably because he's over worked...
Owning a retail store is like having company every day...
We've been re building our business from scratch.
Lasted through a move from Colorado and opened during Covid in a defunct mall...
Having a greater understanding of what it takes to keep a business going for 4 years... bit by bit ,only a small family owned business knows...
And please don't say
" Its your choice" no its our livelihood... and he's almost 70, still working...
Everything you see in our Shop was scouted, purchased, and marketed.
To have a quarrel over 99 cents is on you...
Not him...
His loyal customers know his dedication and knowledge...
It insulted him that day...
And he held his ground...
I know this man since I'm 10 years old...
Additionally we have to close down for 12 days in January for him to get an operation, weighing very heavy on our lively hoods.
