After 35 incredible years we have made the difficult decision to close Baked Beads in early November. It will be so hard to walk away from something that’s been such a huge part of our lives for so long, especially all the wonderful folks we’ve worked with along the way.
In anticipation, we’ve been busy stocking up our best sellers as well as dozens and dozens of BB classics, but it’s best not to wait too long. We’ve already shifted over 150 styles to our half-price sale page, and more discounting will follow but please know that once it’s gone, it’s gone.
Also, mark your calendars for our final in person BLOWOUT CLOSING SALE at our warehouse in Waitsfield, Vermont, October 9th-11th, hope to see you there!
With heartfelt thanks,
David & Robin

Photo Details: After selling earrings out of our car for a year to stores around New England, the above photo was taken at our very first NYC wholesale trade show. That's us and David's mom, Melinda, who helped us at the shows for many years. At that time, we were making all the jewelry ourselves in our first apartment together in VT, but after writing more orders at the show than we could imagine, we drove home, rented a small space in town, and started hiring folks to help us.
