I hate asking but it is really needed. My students need snacks. Our students attend to complete credits to graduate. Most were displaced due to things beyond their control such as homelessness, abuse, violence, abandonment, disability, poverty, deportation of family members, and having to give up their education to work to provide for their families. The snacks help those who come in after breakfast and leave before lunch because of responsibilities. They don’t ask but we try to fill this basic need. You would be surprised how a cup of noodles or granola bar impacts a life. Please we can’t do this alone. If you can spare a few dollars it goes a long way. So be a blessing.
