RIP Old man... He passed overnight in his nesting box. The Dept of Agriculture was out last Friday, I told him he had to be atleast 7 years old and he was starting to slow down. They commented that he seemed a bit dehydrated. He was only with 1 hen for the last year and when I found he'd passed, she was guarding his body like he was a chick. I had to get a scoop to move her off him. He passed being loved by many people and 1 loving hen! Thank you again for letting us own him for so long Bethny Wright ❤

Looking for a dependable and responsible person to help around our chicken farm. Daily chores include feeding and watering birds. Takes about 2 hours each day. $8 per hour to feed and water. Other chores include cleaning cages, scooping p**p, adding wood shavings to pens, helping sort(move birds) and even just mowing the lawn or tidying up barn/yard. $10 per hour or any additional tasks.

You will need mud appropriate boots. If it's raining we can (most likely) provide rain wear. Need to be able to lift a 5gallon bucket of water and 50lb bag of feed. We have a cart with lawn mower to help with feeding and chores. You will need to be able to lift the buckets into the cart.

** I NEED you to care about my birds or atleast the job enough to not leave a pen without food or water no matter what! **

It's not easy work but you will not have to deal with the public and you can work with music or whatever suits you. 2-4 hours per day(maybe more) Monday through Friday(I am home to feed on the weekends).
