Then visit District Time 2019, a two-day watch show featuring unique and affordable timepieces from around the world. Visitors will discover a wide variety of watches from both emerging micro-brands and established independent watchmakers, as well as a selection of vintage pieces. Most of the watches on display are usually only available online, so it is a rare opportunity for DC watch fans to get their hands on the real thing before they buy.
This is the fourth annual event presented by The Time Bum blog and Maryland watchmaker McDowell Time, and it is once again hosted at the award-winning District Architecture Center in the heart of Penn Quarter, a spacious, modern venue located just a couple of blocks from every Metro line and near ample public parking.
District Time is free to the public and offers a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. Come mingle with fellow enthusiasts, meet the brand owners and designers, shop the amazing selection, and enter to win a watch in one of the event’s giveaway drawings.
