Circa Sixty Three draws inspiration from the modern classics of the 20th century. The vivid colors and radical geometric shapes of the 1960s are literally recycled in our jewelry. In late 2008 Circa Sixty Three purchased over eight tons of vintage Lucite dead stock. The dead stock includes loose beads, jewelry parts, and bangles that were made in Providence, Rhode Island throughout the ‘60s and ‘7
0s. Circa Sixty Three also offers a wide range of vintage shoes from the estate of designer Joseph LaRose of Florida. LaRose shoes are found in private collections of important designers all over the world. Circa Sixty Three recently relocated to the Washington DC Metro area from its first home in Jacksonville, Florida. All the jewelry is made by hand at the Hyattsville, MD studio. Designer bio:
Danielle Insetta started making jewelry in her DC apartment In 2005. In 2007, she left a career in Finance for Fashion. In late 2008 after "closing the deal" on 8 TONS of Vintage beads, Insetta set up a workshop studio. She launched Circa Sixty Three in the Fall 2009 with the debut of her Sci-Fi inspired "Frontier" collection. Insetta holds a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy and the History of Mathematics from St.
