Here is one of the pieces that will be available from me for Pinktober Breast Cancer Awareness month. This awareness ribbon with a pink pearl bead is handmade, hand flattened, hand twisted, hand wrapped with love and hope. More of these will be created as well as other designs as we get closer to October. I hope you’ll stay tuned for more PINK from DDD!💗🌸

Here’s a Naja Crescent Moon pendant created with 16g raw copper wire with an iridescent crystal bead added to the center. This one hangs on a choker length leather cord with a copper hook closure.

Naja (Na-Ha or Ya) has multiple meanings within several different cultures. The Navajo used it and it became the basis of the squash blossom design of jewelry. Naja is the name of a snake genus that includes the cobra. It can be a beautiful given name meaning “rescue” or “deliverance” in Arabic. I like to simply think of the crescent moon symbolizing new beginnings, change and constant transformation as the phases of the moon show us.

Or, maybe it’s just a cool piece of jewelry. However you see it, I hope you like this symbol! It’s fun to work the copper into this shape and I plan to use it in lots of new DDD pieces.🤗
