It tested as 10K on the outside… the inside told another story 😳🔍

A client brought in a Jesus pendant found among his late grandma’s belongings. He wanted to know if it was real—and told me to go ahead with testing.

Once opened, the exposed interior turned green and bubbled under acid while the outer gold layer stayed intact. This piece wasn’t gold all the way through 👀

Before you buy or sell, know what you actually have. A surface test alone didn’t tell the whole story here.
