At a young age, I’d get home from school, load up a rusty wagon with a trolling motor, car battery, and fishing gear, and pull it down to a Jon boat beside the creek. I’d fish until dark, mesmerized by the beauty and solitude of the water, interrupted occasionally by the action and excitement of hooking a big bass. Like many of you, my passion for the outdoors grew stronger and was supported and e

ncouraged by my family and friends. In 2014 after years of research and testing, I partnered with my college buddy Gash Clayton to launch Hook + Gaff. Our team was assembled with one mission: to engineer the best watches for outdoor enthusiasts everywhere. Our watch inspirations come from those who brave the elements and love the outdoors as we do, and they are functionally constructed according to the feedback we get from those who wear them.
