Contempo Jewelers was founded in August of 1992, by Nicholas Labate. Nicholas was 24 years young at that time and had already had 7 years of retail jewelry experience. The only time spent away from the jewelry business was a four year period when he received his Bachelors of Business in Accounting from Hofstra University. This business degree would prove invaluable during
his career as a jeweler and entrepreneur. Feeling that there was a need for a upscale jeweler in his hometown, Nicholas opened this store in a newly built shopping center, Cherry Valley in West Hempstead, NY. dedicated to quality and service......
