Honored to have had the opportunity to teach metals to Maine art teachers at the Maine Art Education Association Fall Conference at Haystack School ( which has been happening since the 60’s !!!! ) I created and taught a Maine found object class where my 12 students brought their beloved objects and we set them in jewelry. I gave my first artist talk about my work, most of all, I loved helping others be able to create with metal and fire ❤️

I am buzzing from such a life altering experience and am glad to meet so many lovely folks and thank you to my studio awesome studio Melissa Rioux !!! Here are some images of my students work ⚒️

My wife is in the studio helping me prepare for a big class i am going to be teaching 😁 - not sure there is anything she can’t do! She is quick to learn the basics of metalsmithing and has become a pro at sawing out backplates for me.

Much respect to Sara for diving in to help me with whatever I need to achieve my dreams. She is truly the best and I am having fun working with her in the studio. ⚒️🤍

Sterling silver ring and brass bezel cup ✨✨✨✨

WOW my fatigue and chronic pain have been in a mile high flare and it’s been slowing me down. I guess I need to slow down ( I am doing too much ) and should just go lay under some fuzzy blankets and recoup, but there’s so much I want and need to do.

Looking forward to tomorrow and hoping I’ll have the energy and motivation I need to get things done 🔥
