Our Story
Mary Climer and Paulette Lisy met when they were both executives at the May Company. They shared a dream of opening their own business, a women’s boutique offering unique apparel and accessories.
In 1993, their dream came true and Cara’s Boutique opened its doors. Since then they have seen many changes in the city and retail environment, but their commitment to bringing the best gifts, accessories and clothing to the area has never changed. In 2011, they expanded the store, doubling the square footage in order to expand their product selection.
Paulette and Mary are born and raised Clevelanders who believe in the importance of independent and locally owned businesses. In this ever-changing, digital world, Cara’s Boutique will always strive to provide the most outstanding, personal customer service as well as give back to the community.
