After nearly 30 years of jewelry design, SDA Designs still shines bright. Founded in Wichita, Kansas, the owners still work to establish a link between ancient art and modern fashion. Every piece made by SDA Designs is hand-made with the finest quality precious metals, gemstones, and diligent work-ethic. The style is considered by many to be timeless. As fashion changes through different trends and eras, certain designs have no time limits, because they are built upon a sturdy foundation. These are timeless. These are our pieces. “Take the Greek key, for instance” says Denise, co-owner of SDA designs. “It was used 2400 years ago, it is still used today, and it will be used in the next 1000 years. It has no time-restraint.” SDA Designs is inspired by the art of historically strong design, filtered through time. Whether it comes from artifacts, statues, books or pictures, the designers hold true to the timeless art of historic relics, enforcing modern jewelry principles on ancient work. Every piece is designed through a wax model, then casted or forged, and polished. The process revolves entirely by the jeweler’s hand. Each piece can be worn casually or formally, a key attribute to SDA’s fundamentals of strong, ageless jewelry.
