An immersive day of education, connection, and Kentucky Derby-inspired magic at WIPA Philadelphia’s annual Mastermind 🐎✨

Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to attend my first Mastermind, and I left feeling inspired, motivated, and grateful.

As a business owner nearly 7 years in, it’s easy to think you should have everything figured out by now. But being in a room filled with so many talented creatives and entrepreneurs was a reminder that we’re all continuously learning, growing, and finding our place within this industry.

From meaningful conversations and new connections to insights from incredible speakers, the day was full of inspiration and perspective. I’m thankful to be part of a community that encourages collaboration, growth, and the confidence to take up space.

One of my favorite things is seeing your photos and getting to watch these pieces travel with you. From vacations, to weddings, to everyday moments you felt good in, it’s really special getting to see ECJ become part of your memories.

Same design, just made differently now. Swipe to see what they looked like in 2019 🥺

When I first started ECJ, it was the summer after my freshman year of college. People were declaring their majors and I couldn’t even tell you what my favorite subject was.

I remember being so excited about this design. It felt different, unique, a little funky. I was learning how to shape wire using anything I could find to bend it around… perfume bottles, nail polish bottles, whatever worked.

Then wrapping each crystal one by one, and trying to get the other side to match.

It wasn’t perfect by any means, but that was kind of the point.

Now, a few years, a lot of trial and error, different product placement, marketing, design, and a lot more confidence later, these earrings are being worn by brides on their wedding day, and that’s not something I take lightly.

Just a little reminder that things don’t have to be perfect to start… just start.
