Van Scoy Diamond Mine sponsored four NASCAR races between 1982 and 1985. After visiting the Daytona 500, Tommy Van Scoy knew that he wanted to be the sponsor of the newest in Pocono’s schedule, the Van Scoy Diamond Mine 500. 💍

The winners were Bob Allison (1982 & 1983), Cale Yarborough (1984), and Bill Elliot (1985). The winners were awarded a $5,000 diamond ring from Van Scoy Diamond Mine. The race also included Richard Petty, Dale Earnhardt, Harry Gant, Jody Ridley, Darrel Waltrip, and Dave Marcus. 🏆
