During a recent remodel, a family friend discovered this incredible newspaper advertisement from 1952 tucked away inside a wall — a beautiful reminder of where it all began. 💎❤️

For generations, Van Scoy Diamond Mine has been proud to serve families throughout the Wyoming Valley, and moments like this make us reflect on just how deep our roots truly run. What started with Thomas A. Van Scoy Sr returning home from World War II became more than just a business — it became a legacy built on trust, hard work, and taking care of people the right way.

In the late 1990s, Wayne Van Scoy took the reins and continued that tradition with the same dedication and pride his father showed from the very beginning. Today, Wayne, Jackie, and their amazing team work tirelessly to carry Tommy’s legacy forward, honoring the values that have guided Van Scoy Diamond Mine for decades.

We are incredibly grateful for our history, for the generations of customers who have supported us, and for the opportunity to continue serving this community we proudly call home.

Thank you, Wyoming Valley, for being part of our story. ❤️💎💍

Today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001

We pause to honor the lives lost, the heroes who rushed toward danger, and the resilience that brings us together.

We will never forget 🤍 🇺🇸

In honor of NASCAR returning this weekend to Pocono Raceway, we couldn’t help but reminisce of scenes from the past...🏎 🏁

Van Scoy Diamond Mine sponsored four NASCAR races between 1982 and 1985. After visiting the Daytona 500, Tommy Van Scoy knew that he wanted to be the sponsor of the newest in Pocono’s schedule, the Van Scoy Diamond Mine 500. 💍

The winners were Bob Allison (1982 & 1983), Cale Yarborough (1984), and Bill Elliot (1985). The winners were awarded a $5,000 diamond ring from Van Scoy Diamond Mine. The race also included Richard Petty, Dale Earnhardt, Harry Gant, Jody Ridley, Darrel Waltrip, and Dave Marcus. 🏆

Good luck to all the drivers at this weekend’s big race! ✨
