Finally finished and off to get its edging😌

Handmade wooden shield by Ty with canvas, handle, boss, and even a wire for handing. Handpainted by me, design based off of Suontaka Sword hilt design. Varnished.
Off to get its leather edging!
Stay tuned for the final product. Aiming to have this and one more (in a plank style) to be done and ready for SAVGR Yule Festival.
It is so cool to be able to do this. This is my first shield, and I have learned a lot from this process. I hope whoever claims this baby enjoys him🫶✨️
