Now that I am back to home base with full access to technology😊. I’m reliving the memories of our happy reunion. I’d like to once again THANK all those who made the 5th Biennial Convention in Candelaria a success. I’ll start with my fellow officers and BOD , a.k.a., - Rolly Morales, Girlie C. Santiago, Ditas de Alday, Cionnie Burgos, Yollie Morton, Arman Lirio, Joe, Garcia, Radel Lasin, Edgar Reyes, Helen Genil, Rogie Jauregi, Lalla Berberabe, Merly Dee, Josie B. Pancho, Lori Ostil, Marlyn Compas, Sagring Alcala, Bonnet Malveda, Ferdi de Gala, Raquel Lucena, Carina Montecillo, Raul Abaca, Ato Cedeno, Rollie Ligon, Wanda Bustamante, Roger Concepcion, Madeleine Ong, Pinky Javier, Dr. Molly Javier and Corazon Patos.
I honestly didn’t know what to expect taking the convention out of Las Vegas to the Philippines for the first time. It was sort of an overwhelming feeling on my end overseeing things develop and unfold from California especially in the last 3 months leading to the event but with my team’s huge support and assistance we actually made CQI history. Proud to say we drew the biggest attendance this year so far which means that we generated substantial revenue to support our projects.
I’d like to take this opportunity also to re-share these photos of me giving honor and appreciation to those that helped me shine as your humble president this term, 2017-2019. This includes our generous CQI sponsors. (photos courtesy of Ms. Elsa Gutierrez). There were also other people behind the scenes that I’d like to acknowledge although I believe I was able to reach out to them to thank them personally, one of them was Mae Azores Carlos who was a big help in organizing the 2-day event in Candelaria.
Kudos to all of you!
Update:
During this year’s convention meeting, I was nominated by Ms. Cionnie Burgos to run for the same position for the next term which starts in August of 2019-2021, I’m happy to announce that I gladly accepted it. This I can say, whether I’m elected as the CQI president or not, I vow to remain an active member of the board of directors for as long as I can.
Sincerely,
Anna Marie Javillo-Ridenour
