Ann Pierce is the resident fiber artist. Ann spins & knits all of the lovely hats, shawls, sweaters, and scarves that you see on the Ducksnort page. Ann's daughter, Mae Carkuff, is the jewelry artist. Mae uses sterling silver, copper, and natural gemstones to create beautiful, one of a kind necklaces, bracelets, shawl pins, rings, and earrings (well, the earrings are two of a kind). Ducksnort Fiber & Jewelry is just one of many home-based artisan businesses reinvigorating the Cottage Industry.
