Hi all, I’m in Cornwall and these strange bugs keep appearing in our house. We usually find them upside down, but sometimes they fly around in a thoroughly unsettling way.

Their legs are absurdly sticky, and once they latch on, they’re not easy to remove—even from your own face.

No banana for scale, as we’re more of an orange household. It’s attached to a regular toilet roll tube.

30-year-old man, size 16 feet for reference.
