[Zagreb] ❤️

Autumn usually makes me homesick if im out of my natural habitat. Until im there this will be my Zagreb away from Zagreb.

Inspired by "The Grounded Sun" sculpture made in 1971 by Ivan Kožarić. Original sculpture was nice and clean but I don't mind when people express their thoughts and feelings in such a manner. Of course I don't approve ruining the sculpture but maybe we have to make a place for people to express some thoughts in a way where people can see it and relate.

We spend so much time trying to hide our scars.
On ourselves.
On the things we create.
On the things we leave behind.

But scars mean something survived.

And imperfections mean something was made by hand,
by life, by experience.

Maybe perfect was never the point.

Thx Christoph Simonsen for a photo that proves that crafting isn't all rainbows and butterflies, it's mostly combination of heavy duty and sensitive operations in repetitive motion.

Once finished, the piece of jewellery gives back to me the emotion that is hard to explain. I will try anyway.

It's like a sour sweet cocktail, it starts like fun, it goes into worry and finish with proud and gratitude 🍹
