Warm rose gold. Dark hammered zirconium. A contrast that changes with every angle.

This recently completed ring features a polished 9ct rose-gold core and centre rail, framed by two hand-hammered black zirconium sleeves.

The rose gold brings warmth and refinement, while the irregular zirconium facets give the ring its strong, handcrafted character.

Polished and textured. Warm and dark. Refined and rugged.

A personal design does not have to begin with an unlimited budget. Sometimes it begins with a meaningful idea—and a little creative problem-solving.

This customer wanted a buffalo horn ring with a 9ct yellow-gold line to match his bride’s ring. Because buffalo horn benefits from additional structural support, we needed to build the design around a strong metal core.

A solid 9ct gold core was outside the available budget, so we used lightweight titanium for the structure, added two buffalo horn sleeves and finished the design with that all-important 9ct yellow-gold line.

The result honours the original idea, provides the horn with the support it needs, and carries a beautiful connection to her ring.

Three distinctive materials. One deeply personal ring.

This recently completed design features a lightweight carbon-fibre core with a titanium Damascus sleeve, framed by two inlays of crushed malachite.

The flowing pattern of the Damascus and the natural variations in the malachite ensure that every detail is completely unique.

Dark, rugged and unmistakably personal.

This recently completed ring combines hand-hammered black zirconium with a feature inlay of crushed obsidian and silver leaf. The scattered flashes of silver catch the light beautifully against the deep black stone—ensuring that no two views, and no two rings, will ever be quite the same.

Some details are far more than decorative.

For this ring, a piece of the bride’s wedding veil was carefully preserved in a smooth black zirconium band—allowing the groom to carry a tangible part of her wedding-day story with him, every day.

Some of the simplest-looking rings are the most difficult to make.

This titanium Damascus ring has an ultra-thin wall of only 1.2 mm. But its dimensions were not the only challenge.

Titanium Damascus is etched in acid to reveal its layered pattern. For this design, the customer wanted that texture on the outside—but a completely smooth finish inside.

To achieve this, Awie had to reverse the usual process: finishing and acid-etching the exterior before carefully machining the inside to its final size. It was an unconventional, high-risk way to make a ring, with almost no room for error.

The result is quietly understated. The work behind it was anything but.

It looks very different by the end. 🔥

This ring started as a naturally coloured zirconium core and a Zircuti sleeve, machined to fit together with extremely tight tolerances.

Before the shaping, polishing and colour, there’s a stage we rather love — that almost seamless fit between the two materials. It’s the kind of detail that disappears into the finished ring, but it matters enormously in getting there.

Then the transformation begins.

The ring is shaped and polished.
Our Bezalel mark is engraved inside.
And finally, heat brings the materials to life.

The zirconium darkens and the layers of the Zircuti reveal their incredible colours and pattern — a combination that can never be repeated in exactly the same way.

From two very different materials to one finished ring.
