A whopping 7.3ct fancy vivid pink oval lab-grown diamond, surrounded by a sparkling halo and finished with a custom two-tone gold and diamond chain.

Bold. Beautiful. Completely one of a kind.

Made for my sister’s upcoming birthday. Someone known for her jewellery, so obviously, this had to live up to her reputation.

And a special note to my sister:
You’re so lucky to have me. Your jewellery would totally suck if you had a different sister.

11 years ago, we met in a slightly dodgy Wimpy to discuss Maryke’s engagement ring.

10 years of marriage later + two little humans added to the story…
It felt right that I should make her anniversary ring too.

This time, we did the whole consultation online and when it came time to deliver the ring, what was meant to be a quick coffee turned into a 3-hour catch-up about life, growth, kids, and everything in between.

That’s one of the things I love most about making custom jewellery.
It doesn’t really end when the ring leaves my hands.

You share the big moments. And sometimes, years later, you find yourself sitting across the table from someone whose engagement ring you made 11 years ago, catching up like no time has passed.

Thank you, Maryke and Jaco for trusting me with another very special moment and for reminding me that choosing a jeweller is about more than choosing a ring. It’s about the connection and the memories that comes with it.
