Gina Niederhumer Textile Studio & Shop Fibre art + Handcraft Studio in the heart of Muizenberg Village, Cape Town. Opening Hours: Monday to Friday 10 - 4 and Saturdays 10 - 2.

I have opened the Studio in Palmer Road in 2002, thinking I might stay a year or two...by now it has become a well frequented place by local creatives as well as travelers returning to their yearly summer holidays in Cape Town. The Studio is mostly run by Lella (Dollmaking), Sandi (knitting), and myself. We each work there one or two days a week. We also sell works by other talented local artists

and crafters. Since lockdown has open again we have also Caite (lace crochet earrings) and recently Zoe on board who use studio space in exchange for opening it to customers on the days they work there. We have turned into the PalmerStudioCollective. Occasionally we also run workshops. My main aim was to have a window to the public showcasing my own work as well as fine craft products made locally...but by now it has become much more. A place of well-being and generous interaction. I love my shop ! We are on Instagram as Palmerstudiocollective
