INSPIRATION
This range contains jewellery created with beautiful semi-precious stones, freshwater pearls, coral, lustrous glass pearls and beads, crystal glass, shell etc. strung on chain, leather, cord or wire. HABERDASHERY AND HARDWARE
The concept of jewellery is changing from the traditional idea that only semi-precious stones, gold and silver is proper jewellery! Today anything goes and the trend is inventive and exciting! From haberdashery to hardware, fabric and trimmings to nuts and washers, fishing tackle, even computer parts, strung on bits of twine, leather, ribbon, cord, rubber, wire and chain. Add to this the traditional beads, gemstones, pearls and shell, a borrowing of techniques, a reference to other cultures and you will have a re-invention of the very term 'jewellery'! This range is made up of sterling silver chains, pendants and/or earrings, featured on hand- made greeting cards.
