Paul Mrkusic and his father scour the planet to bring you unconventional rarities, a selection of which can be viewed at their Bryanston Organic Market stall, and also at the monthly Nelson Mandela Square Antique Market on the first Sunday of each month. In addition to these, BANCROFT ANTIQUES is a regular highlight at the much anticipated and highly prestigious annual SAADA Antique, Art & Design Fairs in Johannesburg and Cape Town. Vintage Finnish Sterling Silver Kalevala Koru “Teuva” Pendant Necklace

The sterling silver necklace is a “Teuva” pendant – also known as Teuvan riipus – a well-known design by the Finnish jewellery company Kalevala Koru, forming part of the “Originals” collection, inspired by an archaeological find, a bronze original from the 11th century discovered in Teuva, Finland. It features a decorative open-work pendant hung with three tassels, suspended from a long chain necklace. The stamps include “MADE IN FINLAND” and “925”.
