Kinkel Jewellery Handcrafted designer and custom jewellery, inspired by the sea, made in Cape Town. Each piece is uniquely designed and handmade by me.

Kinkel Jewellery is the culmination of creative and whimsical jewels, inspired by nature and patterns found in my surroundings. Many of my jewels are inspired by South Africa’s rich Fauna and Flora. This is one of those rings that was impossible to capture in a photo ✨ Its beauty just doesn't quite translate through a screen. You had to see it in real life. Every now and then I create a piece that truly hurts to part with, and this was one of them.

My client wasn't completely happy with her original ring, because it kept catching on everything. We carefully removed the diamonds and morganite and gave them a new life in this 9ct yellow gold design.

I love projects like these. Taking something that isn't quite right and turning it into a piece that feels perfect for its owner 💍

It’s always so special creating wedding pieces for a bride, but making this one brought extra joy to my heart. A custom pair of pearl earrings made for a very kind client who completely lit up when I showed them to her. I was so lucky to have also made her engagement ring, and then both of their wedding rings too 💍.

I find the most joy in creating uniquely shaped rings. The wonky and curvy ones that remind you that imperfect can be perfect. Each ring is crafted by hand, with its own little wobbles and curves, making no two the same.

I love making pieces that feel personal and organic.
