Circa 1898 and 1918 desirable Victorian and Edwardian antique hallmarked solid sterling silver chain link fob chain watch chain necklace and gemstone swivel fob pendant.

This wonderful and sought after antique hallmarked solid sterling silver fob chain necklace is hallmarked with the sought after Chester English silver mark for circa 1898 and 1918.
The sterling silver fob chain is a solid 5mm chain width and runs a good 45cm in total length.
The chain opens and closes with an antique silver lobster dog clasp - a beautiful one that has a swivel turn to it.
The clasp opens and closes well and the chain is accented with a circa 1918 silver hallmarked t-bar.

The star of the show is the circa 1898 silver hallmarked double gemstone swivel fob pendant - holding a flat top carnelian and a beautiful green bloodstone per side.
It is a glorious and much desired fob chain watch chain unit that will be an heirloom for many generations to come.
Solid unit weight: 36.6 grams.

A stunning and luminescent white Pearl crowned with a magnificent 12 diamond halo. The 18ct white gold ring is a very well made studio ring with a beautifully triangular shaped, ring band to hold a ring size L 1/2. This is an incredibly beautiful ring.

In the Victorian era the un-ending circle of the snake form was an emblem for eternity of life and for eternal love. Prince Albert proposed to Queen Victoria with a snake engagement ring in 1840 too - its form and meaning has been sought after for 100’s of years.
This incredible triple coiled snake ring has the snake eating its own tail - known as an ouroboros - again holding the symbolism of eternity. The ring is made in a rich well hallmarked 18ct gold and holds a hallmark for Birmingham, England, circa 1916. The snake head further holds 3 mine cut diamonds - the number 3 often has reference to the divine, sacred, to wisdom and harmony.
The ring will fit a ring size S 1/2 (resizing upon request).

I absolutely love this incredible, Victorian 1880’s era chain necklace. Crafted in sterling silver, this chain is comprised of fluted, oval shaped links, almost like a mini book chain link necklace. The necklace opens and closes with a stunning “solid silver” marked dog clasp and I’ve aded 5 beautiful sterling silver, hand wrapped agate beads to add drama and lengthen the chain to a wearable length of 43cm. This rare and mid Victorian era antique chain necklace demands to be collected.

A lucky horseshoe ring, fully hallmarked for Chester, England, circa 1898.
The ring is a HelenSilverSmit brooch to ring conversion.

I just LOVE the symbolism of this beauty! In old Roman and Celtic folklore, the horseshoe represented a protective force because it was traditionally made from iron. The eighth century Chaldeans thought its crescent shape represented various moon goddesses, offering protection against the evil eye and allowing fertility. The Victorian’s associated the horseshoe with success, luck, many blessings and good fortune.
This lucky horseshoe is also adorned with the traditional 7 holes - the luckiest of all numbers.
Ring size L.

A magnificent antique “Order of the Garter” sterling silver star fob medal that I’ve remodelled into this fun to wear ring.
The Order of the Garter was established in 1348 in Britain and to today stands as an Order of Chivalry. The star is the most senior order of knighthood in British honours system, with the inscribed Norman French motto of “honi soit qui mal y pense” meaning “shame on him who thinks evil of it”.

The star is beautifully hand engraved with a leaf laurel and star rays and cantered with an enamel cross.
Ring size: R 1/2

About 12 years ago I bought a set of 3 of these beautiful spoons and kept them, knowing how super special they are. Back in 2019 I made and sold two of the spoon rings but kept this beautiful circa 1854 Griffin spoon ring for my own personal collection.
It is magnificent but I think it’s time I let it go and let one of you enjoy it for ever after…

Hallmarked for London 1854, this special spoon ring bears the Griffin crest.
With the body of a Lion and the head of an Eagle, the griffin symbolizes courage, boldness, strength and leadership; also one guarding a most priceless treasure.

This ring is currently a size P and weighs a glorious 20.8 grams. It measures 32mm wide from knuckle to knuckle.

I so enjoyed bringing new life to this hallmarked silver, circa 1936 brooch clasp. I strung a myriad of shiny faceted labradorite beads onto hand drawn sterling silver wire dangles - interspacing it with four beautiful hand carved natural shell rose accent beads.
The original brooch pin boasts a beautiful colouring of sterling silver and red and blue enamel and was made in Birmingham, England, 1936.
Dimensions: 25mm wide x 50mm dangle.
Price: R1315.00
