We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; ...; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies. 2Cor4 v8-10

🙏 UMYF Lay Training 2026 – Appreciation Message

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who took part in the UMYF Lay Training 2026. It was truly a wonderful and fruitful day filled with learning, fellowship, leadership development and togetherness.

From the training sessions on Presidium, Projects, Finance and the Four Commissions, to the meaningful interactions and fellowship afterwards, the event was a great opportunity for us to grow together and strengthen our commitment to serving Christ and the church.

A special thank you to our facilitators, leaders, organizers and every young person who made time to attend and participate. Your presence, contributions and enthusiasm made the day a success.

We also appreciate everyone who helped with the braai and the social fellowship, which gave us a chance to relax, connect and enjoy each other's company.

Thank you all for making UMYF Lay Training 2026 a memorable and successful event. May God continue to guide, strengthen and equip us as we serve.

This September, Chitungwiza Marondera District stands with every young person who is struggling, hurting or simply trying to make it through another day.

Su***de prevention is not only about responding when someone is in crisis. It is also about creating spaces where people feel heard, supported, valued and safe enough to ask for help.

Through joining S.T.A.Y. (Standing Together Against Youth-Su***de) campaign, we are choosing to speak hope, share reasons to stay and remind one another that a difficult moment does not have to become the end of the story.

This month, let's check in.
Let's listen.
Let's reach out.
Let's speak hope.
Let's stand together.

Because every life matters. Every story matters. And there is always room for hope🎗️💜
