SRC TOURS THE HILLS ESTATE

The Acting Director General of the Sports and Recreation Commission, Peter Mudzimiri, yesterday toured the golf course at The Hills Lifestyle Estate.

The tour was led by Ken Sharpe, CEO of West Properties, the developers of the estate.

Once complete, the facility will feature an international-standard golf course, a driving range, a swimming complex, as well as tennis and padel courts, positioning it as a premier sports and lifestyle destination.

Mr Mudzimiri was accompanied by SRC Finance Director Brian Hodza, Director of Business Development and Marketing Sheunopa Vushemakota, and Acting Director of Sports and Recreation Development Shepherd Mukanhairi.

Speaking during the tour, Mr Mudzimiri highlighted the critical role of private sector investment in developing sports infrastructure, noting that such partnerships are key to achieving the SRC’s mandate of making sport accessible to all.

Importantly, facilities such as the driving range, courts, and swimming pool will be open to the public.
