Fantastic day on Wednesday at Lodge Farm with Bentley Suffolks who kindly hosted the Breed for CH4nge event where project research and results were presented.

Three years of data collection and research completed, the next step is to launch the new breeding index developed by the project on the Signet website.

Allowing breeders and buyers to identify those breeding lines that have the genetic potential to reduce the carbon footprint of the flock, lifting flock efficiency and profitability at the same time.

Great day with Synergy Farm Health and Breed for CH4nge - here Charlotte is talking about BVD; a few minutes later I got a few graphs out and they all wandered off in search of food. AHDB Beef and Lamb team were on hand talking about genetics and environmental breeding goals.
