Sliding patio door track, Rollers and handle replaced today. We were actually called out to fix the handle because it broke off. The wheels had seized about 10 months ago so the owner put grease on the track to get it to slide better, but eventually the seized Rollers cut through the track and it collapsed which made it almost impossible to open which, in turn resulted in the handle snapping.
A broken handle on a door or window is usually a symptom of something else that is causing the problem.
Replacing the Rollers when the problem first appeared would have saved a lot of money and all that effort dragging the door over and back for 10 months.
