So proud of this special project
Together with the amazing Flavia , I had the joy of creating custom hand soaps for Quatra’s end-of-year gifts — made from their own collected used cooking oil . We joined forces to transform this collected oil into a luxurious, high-quality soap, enriched with carefully selected ingredients and crafted with intention.Turning waste into something elegant never felt so right.
Collaborating with a company like Quatra and repurposing used cooking oil into something beautiful and useful and felt incredibly meaningful. Sustainability, circularity, and responsibility — perfectly aligned.Grateful for collaborations that prove circular solutions can also be refined.

With a special edition of Sightless Seeing #5: Black Box Sarah van Lamsweerde and Leroy de Böck invited the audience into the Theater Instituut Nederland (TIN) - Allard Pierson Collections. As an addition to the collection, Leroy and Sarah proposed a series of dance moves by the late Jan Hessels (1962 -1993) along with Jan’s scent as it was captured in the scented booklet Sightless Seeing #5: Jan Hessels, 1989 (2020).

During the symposium session ‘Archief van de Vluchtigheid’ – on 28th of February 2025, at the Universiteitstheater
– it was announced that the booklet shall soon be included in the archive of the Allard Pierson Collections!
