The Liminal Space is a monthly community-based wellness event at Local Radish featuring seven to ten practitioners offering services like massage therapy, sound bowl healing, numerology, and tarot readings, etc. The entry is just $5, which includes food and refreshments, with optional paid readings available. It’s a welcoming environment to meet community members, ask questions without judgment, and connect with others. You can drop in anytime during the event hours; this month’s Liminal Space is on June 28 from 5:30 to 9:00 PM at 705 East 52nd Street (SE corner of College & 52nd).

Sunday morning, at 4:45am, the moon will be full in Sagittarius. You’ve probably heard this one referred to as the blue moon. What does that mean?

A BLUE MOON IS AS A REMINDER TO CHECK IN WITH YOURSELF.

This will be a powerful moment to release limiting beliefs about what’s possible and to be more curious with your life.
Blue Moons are rare (“once in a blue moon”), intentions set and releases performed under this light carry extra strength hold intentional space for this full moon, it won’t come again soon.

A BLUE MOON ALSO REPRESENTS THE 13TH MOON WITHIN A CALENDAR YEAR. THE NUMBER 13 IS ASSOCIATED WITH THE GODDESS AND WITH FEMININE ENERGY.

THE BLUE MOON OFFERS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR CONTEMPLATION, COMPLETION, AND TAPPING INTO DIVINE FEMININITY (for all genders).

Sagittarius is the archer... always aiming towards the horizon... toward meaning, adventure, and truth. This Blue Moon puts things in perspective: your philosophies, belief systems, connections, and quest for knowledge.

Not only are they intoxicating, the artistry and attention to detail, including the wax seals and real rose petals, makes each piece feel like a collector’s item. May has been an exciting month for all of us here at The Radish. 🫜⋆˚⟡˖ With the New Moon in Ta**us guiding us in assessing our personal values and grounding ourselves- we’re now ready for the Blue Moon in Sagittarius! As stated in our upcoming news letter, “Blue Moons are rare (‘once in a blue moon’) Intensions set and releases under this light carry extra strength. So hold intentional space for this full moon, it won’t come again soon.” Here are a couple of things you can do for this upcoming event; • Build an altar (While everyones craft is different, blue/white candles, Lapis Lazuli, Blue Apatite, labradorite, Angelite, Citrine, and moon water are all great options.)
• Set intentions and evaluate; (Ex. Journaling.) • Practice release rituals (This can even be as simple as taking a long shower.) • Card Pulls! (Tarot, Oracle, and so on.) While we unfortunately won’t be able to be together for the liminal space this month, we are open on the 31st from 12:00am-5:00pm! Beloveds, due to unforeseen circumstances, we need to push back our next liminal space event to June 28. You can use the tickets you purchased for Sunday for June or any future event or you can request a refund and we’ll happily get you taken care of.

Meanwhile, though we won’t be having the gathering Sunday night, .indy is open all weekend and has products available for purchase, second-hand (or in some cases, brand new) apparel from our closets for sale, & open tarot decks for you to try out.

Every weekend for the foreseeable summer future, including right now, right this moment), we’ve got our gorgeous space next door — .indy where we host The Liminal Space (this month’s is in one week! May 31, 5:30-9) — open for you to explore. The room has an array of Local Radish items you can purchase, open tarot decks you can try out, & a rotating supply of yummy second-hand items from our closets & our homes.
