Today is World Mental Health Day🤍

Sometimes, the most meaningful thing we can do to show up for someone is ask them, “How are you, really?” Send this message to someone you love or someone you’ve been meaning to check in on. A simple question can open the door to an important conversation.

We’re proud to support NAMI, The Trevor Project, The Lemons Foundation, and The Mental Health Coalition today and every day. $5 from each of their bracelets is donated back to these important causes, helping connect people with the support they deserve and reminding everyone who wears one that they’re never alone.

Meet Jeslyn Gorman💗

A member of The Little Words Project Breast Cancer Collective, our friend, and truly one of the most incredible people we know.

You may know J E S L Y N as an incredible vocalist who lights up every room she walks into. What you may not know is that she was in the middle of a massive world tour when she heard the words, “you have breast cancer.”

For a while, she kept going. Flying home between shows for appointments and then getting right back on stage. Eventually, she took six months away from touring to focus on chemo, surgery, and radiation.

Through it all, she never lost her spirit. And when she finally rang that bell? We were all sobbing for her.

We’re so honored to have Jeslyn as one of 3 incredible women featured in our Breast Cancer Awareness Collective. This October, we’ve teamed up with BCRF with $5 from every bracelet donated directly to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to help fund research toward a world without breast cancer.

A mom of four through birth and adoption, Kirstin shares the milestones, joys, and everyday moments of raising children with Down syndrome.

We’re so grateful to have her share her story with us:

“I was so honored to have the opportunity to partner with Little Words Project to create pieces that I felt really spoke to the special needs mom community.

I wanted to encapsulate our journey with just a couple words. “Beautifully hard” perfectly describes this journey for us. There are so many difficult moments but an undeniable beauty that covers our experiences making it the most rewarding thing we have done. “Chosen” I know we feel like we were specifically chosen by God for our kids. We are everything they need, and even though that comes with its own set of challenges there is so much comfort in knowing He has given us everything we need to be what they need. The “four leaf clover” because this the path less traveled, this journey is unique and so are our kids but we know we are the lucky ones. The “worthy” kids bracelet. It is our life’s mission to constantly remind our kids who they are and that they belong here, they are worthy exactly how and who they are.

I hope when you and your child wear your bracelet, you are constantly reminded how special you are and that these words continue to encourage you everyday of your motherhood journey.
