This gorgeous green girlie is heading to annual Spring fundraiser—Savor—in Richmond, VA.

The Doorways provides a comfortable, emotionally supportive environment for those who need to be close to the hospital but not far from the feeling of “home.” My good friend Stacy has been their CEO for the last 12 years.

Under her caring leadership, The Doorways offers patients and their families a safe space to focus on healing and recovery without the burden of additional costs.
💚
Every spring, Stacy and her team throw a wonderful party — Savor— that celebrates the Richmond foodie community while raising much-needed monies for their cause. I’m delighted to say this is my fifth year donating a piece of SPJ to their auction.

I love the passion Stacy brings to her work, and the compassion she and her team offers those in medical crisis. It’s good to remember there is more love and kindness in the world than the headlines lead us to believe.

Perfect for a very special Valentine’s Day. This beauty is solid 18k with a darling diamond heart centered by a sapphire.

Lingerie pins were popular at the end of the 1800s/beginning of the 1900s, as functional jewelry attached to the neckline to secure bodices, lace fichus or high collared blouses.
♥️
Given her generous size and the curved element at the front, it’s also possible that this beauty was attached to a garter to hold up silk stockings. The dress or skirt might have had a slit up the leg to reveal the twinkly diamonds.
♥️
The heart motif was popular at that time and sapphires were often used to symbolize “faithfulness.”
♥️
She’s coming with me—alongside so many new treasures—to the inaugural Manhattan Vintage Show: Jewelry Edition on February 14.
