Almost ten years ago, this started as an 800-square-foot shop on Oglethorpe Avenue and a belief that Savannah deserved jewelry worthy of its history and style. This city, and its beautiful visitors, continually remind us that belief was worth something.
Recently, Savannah voted Chad Crawford Best Jewelry Designer. Third generation. GIA-certified. A man who spent his time in NYC buying diamonds for Tiffany & Co. and designing jewelry for high end clients and institutions, to come home and build something of his own, in a mansion on Whitaker Street that some would say too big a dream for a family jeweler.
And to 13 Secrets Maison, named runner-up for Best Jewelry Store — thank you. That title means as much to us as the first one. It’s not an award for a building or a display case. It’s a vote from clients and friends who let us be part of their proposals, their milestones, their family heirlooms in the making — a piece that will outlive all of us. We don’t take that lightly.
This mansion has 130 years of stories in its walls. We’re grateful Savannah keeps choosing to write the next chapter with us.
